You notice how it says "months ago"? Here's how it went down: New user discovers MLIA. Reads through like 400 pages (didn't we all?) and discovers that someone already ended the GvY battle. This user has kindly reminded us that the stupid battle is over.
Google Chrome has been too kind to me.. I have to side with Google! Also, the browsing interface is cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing to me, along with better results and functionality. Matter of opinion, though.
Go home brave men. Lay down your weapons and take a shower. Run home to your wives and children. Fall to your knees and sing to the skies. It is over. The battle is over. The war is no more. This day will live in fame, and you, brave soldiers, will live eternally in the hearts of thousands of web-surfers looking for the answers to tomorrows quiz. People with a mysterious rash will have YOU to thank, those who are looking how to build a birdhouse will remember you. Lonely old maids will pause, with a tear in their eye, and think of all the hours of battling boredom and wasting bandwidth you have sacrificed as they Google image pictures of ferrets in funny hats. And I, as I slowly descend into old age, will die happy, knowing that Google with always have more epic win than Yahoo.
A toast to our fallen brethren, who didn't live to see this day. Whither it's because they used too much bandwidth downloading porn, or because they were stuck on a 56K modem, or even because their parents blocked Google so that they couldn't search for the aforementioned porn, this day belongs to them as much as it does to any of us.
Let me tell you the life cycle of the cliche. It first starts off a common idiom or a topic the original OP actually likes. Then, three months later, noobs see it and think it's the greatest thing ever. So they will make up a MLIA that follows it and three months later, it is posted. But in those three months, people are realizing it's cliche. But it's too late, the post has long been submitted, and three moths later, it appears. And a new set of noobs see it and copies it again. And it starts all over again.
And it goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on...... While we all die in the process.
I think the google vs yahoo battle posts are interesting!
Also, seeing as it takes around 2 months for a post to get published, people might still have posted google vs yahoo posts within that 2 months, meaning that they could still be published tomorrow or even next month. Meaning this post is useless. If you get me?
Hey guys? I have a question. What does OP mean? everyone says it on here. Email me the answer or comment it on here please. Email: twilighter_4ever17@yahoo.com Thanks!
I know!!! What DOES OP mean????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
By the way... i'm just letting you know that pretty much everybody here hates twilight, so you might want to change your email address.... don't say I didn't warn you in a little while!
Some of the things google comes up with is pretty interesting and funny, so I don't really mind the war. If you don't like it, you just lose like the 4 seconds you spend reading it, so get over it. eh?
