today, after a long battle with Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS), a condition that causes severe seizures, my younger brother died last night. This is his favorite website and he could never get a post o it. Here's to you, Luke Andrews.
If he was real. It's hard to be taken seriously when you just type "FAKE" on this site, but it is the truth, and some people do crazy things to get their story posted.
Its good of you to say that, but whoever said this below was right, i looked it up(cuz I have no life), and Nerve Attenuation Syndrome is a fictional disease made up for a movie. Also, I think even if it was real, and and the only syptom was seizures it'd be managagable, plenty of people live with epilepsy.
I don 19t mean to be mean or rude when I say this, but if this is a fake I am really annoyed, and also you should have checked you grammar if it was a tribute to your brother.
If any of you have ever been in mourning, you should know that you don't just sit around moping every waking second of the day. Obviously this person was mourning if they wanted to make a tribute to their brother. Jeez.
a REAL tribute would be when they're sorry for their loss and hope that others will respect that. What if this was real? You would feel like shit if your brother died AND people were calling you liars on top of it.
I will remind you one time: IT IS THE GODDAMN INTERNET! Anyone can do anything over the Internet, hell, I could be some creeper from across the street that is watching you. I could be a serial killer, and you wouldn't have a fucking clue. So quit acting like this is actually happened and move on.
Aaaauuuggghhhh! People take things way too seriously!!! Okay, Person Who Posted This Story, If this is real, I'm sorry for your loss. If it's fake, you suck. There ya go. Goodbye.
I just want to say, that most people mourn over the dead, not post stories about them on websites. If you cared, you probably should be comforting family members and stuff. Just saying. (Arrrrgh)
I'm not so sure. For the longest time I've had that vampire vs. werewolf ad, and I found out someone had something for Utah at the same time. But maybe it's an exception?
Usually this type of memorial for a person is fake! If it is real, then sorry to them and I hope they get through it, but seriously what sane person would have a family death then think in their mind... OH MY BROTHER LIKED THIS INTERNET THING, I will just ignore my family and post something on the site about him.
I'm not sure if all of these posts are fake or not, and I don't want to be rude, so I'll refrain from complaining about this particular post. *taps foot and whistles a catchy tune while waiting for new post*
Well I don't think it's my job to discuss this sort of stuff with you...oh the kazoo? Erm...*Lois away awkwardly* Maybe you should just clap your hands or something.
wow. this shows how sick and twisted people in this world can be. they used a fake disease to get a story posted. yes, it is fake, i did google it and this came up:
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS) is a fictional disease in the film, which is not present in the short story."
It was for a Johnny Mnemonic film. This post makes me sick.
the OP's though process:
"Hey, i am really bored right now."
*walks over to computer and goes on MLIA*
"heyy i have an idea...let's fake a brother dying because thats what all the cool cats do!"
"And since i just heard of this disease on a movie, i will use NAS"
*post published*
"YESS I CAN BE COOL NOW"
your not cool you stupid idiot. stupid person.
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS) is a fictional disease in the film, which is not present in the short story." Wikipedia post for the movie Johnny Mnemonic. You could have at least come up it a real disease if you wanted people to actually believe this story.
I have no friends that is dead, i'm not betting on who's gonna Get a story posted here first with my dad. I just a guy that wants a story posted here. MLIA
It's unfortunate that all you people have time to do is bitch at the person that wrote the story when you should be bitching about the people that voted this story to be published on this site. I've started reading this site less and less because of people who are constant assholes about how much they don't "believe" the post, or how "fake" they think it is and they have to spill their negativity onto everyone else. Shut up, grow up and move the fuck on.
I understand that it sucks to lose someone, but these are getting very repetitive, and i wouldn't want to bore people with the details of my death on MLIA. I don't think any of the people who died of REAL diseases would want their name on their for a depressing story..
my best friend's younger brother died of a seizure earlier this week. Regardless of whether or not this is fake, it's a horrible idea and this kind of thing really does happen. so stop going crazy over little things and realize the meaning behind it.
Regardless of whether or not NAS is a fictional disease or not I feel sorry for you and your family. I understand what it feels like to have a family member die of seisures which is really hard. Hope you and your family feel better.
