MyLifeIsAverage

Life is pretty normal today.
today, after a long battle with Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS), a condition that causes severe seizures, my younger brother died last night. This is his favorite website and he could never get a post o it. Here's to you, Luke Andrews.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace- you and your family are in my prayers.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 47Bad: 732 years ago
I hope you know this type of post is one of the fakest posts you could ever post to MLIA.

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 26Bad: 382 years ago
Don't be so god damn nice. I good-ed you though, for being so god damn nice.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 16Bad: 232 years ago
That is the first time in my life anyone has called me nice *hyperventilates*

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 15Bad: 142 years ago
*looks around awkwardly* Um...yes...I was talking to..you.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 6Bad: 142 years ago
Ha caught it, but you beat me to it! Awesome, I thought I was in the Twilight Zone.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 2Bad: 82 years ago
OR reply fail now that I look at it! That would make more sense, no?

Not exactly a reply fail. But what ever.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 0Bad: 82 years ago
Kinda, you musta hit the wrong reply button.

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 12Bad: 82 years ago
If he was real. It's hard to be taken seriously when you just type "FAKE" on this site, but it is the truth, and some people do crazy things to get their story posted.

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 8Bad: 92 years ago
Proof: first google results for "Luke Andrews obituary" on google are all about some guy in the army who died of possibly depression.

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 5Bad: 12 years ago
do you really think google is going to keep track of every Luke Andrews in the world?

[ - ]  YourFatherGood: 8Bad: 72 years ago
@canudance02 don't be sorry, OP is a liar. Nerve Attenuation Syndrome is a fictional sickness.

[ - ]  kkay459Good: 7Bad: 12 years ago
Its good of you to say that, but whoever said this below was right, i looked it up(cuz I have no life), and Nerve Attenuation Syndrome is a fictional disease made up for a movie. Also, I think even if it was real, and and the only syptom was seizures it'd be managagable, plenty of people live with epilepsy.

I feel a deep twang of corralation in my absent minded stomach. Here is to all you puffins out there...

[ - ]  deathtoelmoGood: 12Bad: 22 years ago
I don 19t mean to be mean or rude when I say this, but if this is a fake I am really annoyed, and also you should have checked you grammar if it was a tribute to your brother.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 18Bad: 32 years ago
He died last night? Shouldn't you be mourning and not posting stories on this site?

[ - ]  xfuckxGood: 8Bad: 22 years ago
just about to say that.

[ - ]  MobileGood: 12Bad: 12 years ago
Last night 8 weeks ago.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 2Bad: 72 years ago
Same difference Mobile.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 10Bad: 92 years ago
If any of you have ever been in mourning, you should know that you don't just sit around moping every waking second of the day. Obviously this person was mourning if they wanted to make a tribute to their brother. Jeez.

Jeez. If they wanted to make a REAL tribute, they would've capitalized the first letter of the story. Okay?

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 1Bad: 02 years ago
a REAL tribute would be when they're sorry for their loss and hope that others will respect that. What if this was real? You would feel like shit if your brother died AND people were calling you liars on top of it.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 4Bad: 62 years ago
The kid 'died' a few hours ago. Well it's weeks ago now, but usually when you're in mourning you're spending time with family members.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 5Bad: 22 years ago
Well when you die, I'll make an MLIA tribute for you all too. Maybe you'll appreciate it then.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 2Bad: 22 years ago
That doesn't make sense, now that I think about it. You probably really won't care.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 3Bad: 22 years ago
How would I be able to appreciate if if I was dead...

I won't be able to. I'll be dead.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 3Bad: 12 years ago
Glad to know we think alike... Maybe they couldn't see the bad grammar through their tears?

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 0Bad: 32 years ago
They still could...

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 7Bad: 22 years ago
I will remind you one time: IT IS THE GODDAMN INTERNET! Anyone can do anything over the Internet, hell, I could be some creeper from across the street that is watching you. I could be a serial killer, and you wouldn't have a fucking clue. So quit acting like this is actually happened and move on.

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 0Bad: 22 years ago
You never posted a tribute to me...

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 9Bad: 02 years ago
Aaaauuuggghhhh! People take things way too seriously!!! Okay, Person Who Posted This Story, If this is real, I'm sorry for your loss. If it's fake, you suck. There ya go. Goodbye.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 1Bad: 12 years ago
Goodbye...

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Finally! Why can't they take this down like they did with that one after the day-long post.

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
Google the disease. Seriously.

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 12 years ago
Ha! I did, and I'm going to show that to my brother who thinks these posts are true.

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Your family would.

[ - ]  MobileGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
No, I won't. I'll be fucking DEAD!

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Try refreshing the page...

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Don't tell Mobile how to live his life.

Why?

[ - ]  AbigailRenee17Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
it also says "today" then "last night"

[ - ]  zmcgGood: 6Bad: 12 years ago
Maybe you could check your grammar in his honor...

Okay, so your brother died, and you don't even bother to captitalize the post about him? And may I remind you OP, this is not a fucking obituary!

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
I'm not in the mood. Waiting for the next post...

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 0Bad: 12 years ago
'Course, now this is going to be one of those four hour posts...

Way to jinx it.

[ - ]  Cookiemonster978Good: 5Bad: 12 years ago
Wow fake much...

[ - ]  AKissGoodnightGood: 9Bad: 02 years ago
I'v read too many posts like this. It's gettin on meh nerves! Stop lettin them on hurr!

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 0Bad: 32 years ago
Ow...

[ - ]  AKissGoodnightGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Did that hurt you? I am so sorry.

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
I had some real trouble reading some of the words you wrote, but I see now that you have a ledgible accent.

[ - ]  AKissGoodnightGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
That's the first time I've ever typed like that. Aggravation.

I just want to say, that most people mourn over the dead, not post stories about them on websites. If you cared, you probably should be comforting family members and stuff. Just saying. (Arrrrgh)

Oooh on my screen there's an add for pinched nerve treatment. Who wants to sign up with me?

[ - ]  thecookiejarGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
I can pinch your nerve for you. And, for future reference, everybody sees the same ads.

No they don't. I didn't see that ad.

[ - ]  badlydrawnboyGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
I'm not so sure. For the longest time I've had that vampire vs. werewolf ad, and I found out someone had something for Utah at the same time. But maybe it's an exception?

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Damn. I keep seeing the same ads as other commenters. Which state/country do you guys live in?

[ - ]  MysteryIncGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
ooh, feisty.

[ - ]  deathtoelmoGood: 3Bad: 12 years ago
Usually this type of memorial for a person is fake! If it is real, then sorry to them and I hope they get through it, but seriously what sane person would have a family death then think in their mind... OH MY BROTHER LIKED THIS INTERNET THING, I will just ignore my family and post something on the site about him.

[ - ]  thecookiejarGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
I'm not sure if all of these posts are fake or not, and I don't want to be rude, so I'll refrain from complaining about this particular post. *taps foot and whistles a catchy tune while waiting for new post*

[ - ]  MysteryIncGood: 3Bad: 12 years ago
*tries to whistle, but ends up spitting all over thecookiejar*

[ - ]  MysteryIncGood: 1Bad: 12 years ago
But... I don't know what it is! Where do I blow?? (sorry, twas the first thing to enter my mind... o.O)

[ - ]  thecookiejarGood: 1Bad: 12 years ago
Well I don't think it's my job to discuss this sort of stuff with you...oh the kazoo? Erm...*Lois away awkwardly* Maybe you should just clap your hands or something.

[ - ]  thecookiejarGood: 0Bad: 12 years ago

[ - ]  Max__01Good: 5Bad: 22 years ago
So your brother "died" and you're on a site like this? Get a life, and stop posting fake shit.

[ - ]  gr8ingGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome", huh? That's a A Keanu Reeves throwback and a half. Perhaps an ad for a terrible, terrible funk band? Well done.

[ - ]  AKissGoodnightGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
*waits very impatiently for a new post* Holy hell.

[ - ]  deathtoelmoGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
I think everyone 19s jinxed it now, I bet the next post will be like 2 hours away.

Goodbye, I am going to go and eat dinner. Pasta for me!

[ - ]  kissmegreeneyesGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
Go google the "disease" because its not real. it was made up for the 1995 movie johnny mnemonic.

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
Seriously, I feel like I'm going to throw up right now. Like my hands are shaking and I can feel my heart pounfing in my chest...

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
This is sickening. Google "Nerve Attenuation Syndrome".

[ - ]  Ashlizzle38Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
I did. The whole fun of MLIA is when the stories are real, not when people make hem up just to get sympathy.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 6Bad: 02 years ago
It's a fake disease... Damn me for trusting people!!! When will I learn???

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 3Bad: 02 years ago
And I call myself a doctor...

[ - ]  dancerqueenGood: 8Bad: 12 years ago
wow. this shows how sick and twisted people in this world can be. they used a fake disease to get a story posted. yes, it is fake, i did google it and this came up: "Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS) is a fictional disease in the film, which is not present in the short story." It was for a Johnny Mnemonic film. This post makes me sick.

[ - ]  ProceedGood: 7Bad: 02 years ago
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome" Is from a movie. Screw this post.

[ - ]  shutyourpieholeGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
the OP's though process: "Hey, i am really bored right now." *walks over to computer and goes on MLIA* "heyy i have an idea...let's fake a brother dying because thats what all the cool cats do!" "And since i just heard of this disease on a movie, i will use NAS" *post published* "YESS I CAN BE COOL NOW" your not cool you stupid idiot. stupid person.

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 1Bad: 02 years ago
why did MLIA even publish it?!

[ - ]  ibleedguardGood: 7Bad: 12 years ago
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS) is a fictional disease in the film, which is not present in the short story." Wikipedia post for the movie Johnny Mnemonic. You could have at least come up it a real disease if you wanted people to actually believe this story.

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 0Bad: 12 years ago
shouldn't trust WIKIPEDIA!!!

[ - ]  HuitepGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Holy crap people. Did you google this disease ? IT'S FAKE!!!!!!!!! Stupid retards.

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 0Bad: 32 years ago
I have no friends that is dead, i'm not betting on who's gonna Get a story posted here first with my dad. I just a guy that wants a story posted here. MLIA

[ - ]  Ashlizzle38Good: 1Bad: 02 years ago
You mean you have no friends that ARE dead. I despise improper grammar.

[ - ]  CiweyGood: 4Bad: 12 years ago
I don't give a shit if this is real or fake. Fuck this Luke Andrews person.

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
I'm '

[ - ]  pReCiOuSgArBaGeGood: 2Bad: 62 years ago
It's unfortunate that all you people have time to do is bitch at the person that wrote the story when you should be bitching about the people that voted this story to be published on this site. I've started reading this site less and less because of people who are constant assholes about how much they don't "believe" the post, or how "fake" they think it is and they have to spill their negativity onto everyone else. Shut up, grow up and move the fuck on.

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 0Bad: 42 years ago
I hope my littlesis dies so i can Get a story published here. Tho she is healthy and 3 1/2 years ild. That sucks, that she is healthy.

[ - ]  pReCiOuSgArBaGeGood: 0Bad: 12 years ago
It's too bad you have no idea how to spell correctly. *Though, and *Old.

[ - ]  goAtluvr7Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
you...you hope your littlest dies? is that what you meant? cuz that's sick >_>

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Old'

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 0Bad: 32 years ago
Go die asshole. As much as i hope my little sister die, i hope you die.

[ - ]  pReCiOuSgArBaGeGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Aw honey, I will die, and so will you and everyone you love. That's what happens in life :)

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 0Bad: 42 years ago
Yeah, to bad i can't skip forward so my littlesister can die quicker.

[ - ]  nivgangsGood: 4Bad: 02 years ago
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fictional_diseases 100% FICTIONAL DISEASE. From the movie 'Johnny Mnemonic'.

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 1Bad: 12 years ago
Off course i dont want her dead, relax ;)

[ - ]  Anon4lGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago

[ - ]  floridagirl101Good: 3Bad: 02 years ago
really? i feel sorry for you, but mylifeisaverage is really for funny stories, not heartbreaking

this isn't real

[ - ]  floridagirl101Good: 3Bad: 02 years ago
AND i went on wikipedia and type NAS in . it came out FICTIONAL DISEASE god, next time you want to break someones heart, at least get the facts right

[ - ]  BmoneyGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Yup totally fake. NAS is a disease from a movie. You could have at least used a real disease. ;)

[ - ]  fosterGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Stop this, real or fraud. MLIA isn't an obit site.

[ - ]  Ashlizzle38Good: 2Bad: 02 years ago
TRUE DAT!

[ - ]  chrissssstyGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago

seriously, your dumb! why would you put that up??? your brother didn't die..FROM A FICTIONAL DISEASE?

[ - ]  brennalove4Good: 0Bad: 32 years ago
it's not fictional, loser.

[ - ]  BlargheimGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Look it up, dipshit. It's FAKE.

[ - ]  klaybabyy15Good: 2Bad: 02 years ago
brenna. youre an idiot if you believe this. google NAS

[ - ]  randy_laheyGood: 1Bad: 12 years ago
I understand that it sucks to lose someone, but these are getting very repetitive, and i wouldn't want to bore people with the details of my death on MLIA. I don't think any of the people who died of REAL diseases would want their name on their for a depressing story..

[ - ]  randy_laheyGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
there* (that was a terrible grammatical error... I know).

[ - ]  whereisxanthusGood: 5Bad: 22 years ago
I hate it when these are posted on MLIA. They aren't funny or anything and the dead person (if he/she even exsists) can't read it, can they?

[ - ]  rubakisGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
I didn't even have to look up the disease. OP said "Today," and then he "died last night" Even someone mourning wouldn't get that wrong.

[ - ]  iBeMaryGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
If this is real, it must be terrible to lose him. If this is fake, you're sick -.-

[ - ]  greenandahalfGood: 0Bad: 42 years ago
i think it good that you got this posted may he rest in peace

[ - ]  klaybabyy15Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
he doesnt exist..

[ - ]  remyjawnnGood: 0Bad: 52 years ago
RIP Despite everyone is fighting about it being a fake post. If it is or not, may he rest in peace.

[ - ]  brennalove4Good: 0Bad: 52 years ago
i am sooo sorry for your loss. i'm soo happy this got posted. rip

[ - ]  BlargheimGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
Uh, this disease is fake, fucking moron.

[ - ]  klaybabyy15Good: 1Bad: 02 years ago
youre obviously the OP

[ - ]  BlargheimGood: 0Bad: 12 years ago
No, I'm not, I'm just showing how much bullshit is in this post.

[ - ]  klaybabyy15Good: 1Bad: 02 years ago
no not you blargheim, i was replying to brennalove but i didnt refresh so yours came before me, sorry!

[ - ]  BlargheimGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neural_Attenuation_Syndrome#In_other_media Thus proving this is fake.

[ - ]  klaybabyy15Good: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Why did you start it with "today" (today my youner brother died last night) (if you take ou the comma phrase)

[ - ]  melamela999Good: 0Bad: 22 years ago
ummmm her brother just died and your correcting her on a stupid typo?

[ - ]  klaybabyy15Good: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago

im so sorry for you and your family, R.I.P Luke :(

[ - ]  damnthatgirlGood: 0Bad: 12 years ago
my best friend's younger brother died of a seizure earlier this week. Regardless of whether or not this is fake, it's a horrible idea and this kind of thing really does happen. so stop going crazy over little things and realize the meaning behind it.

[ - ]  lilgeniousGood: 0Bad: 12 years ago
Regardless of whether or not NAS is a fictional disease or not I feel sorry for you and your family. I understand what it feels like to have a family member die of seisures which is really hard. Hope you and your family feel better.

[ - ]  klaybabyy15Good: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
um no1 can die from a fictional disease??

[ - ]  hazelfGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
