MyLifeIsAverage

Life is pretty normal today.
Today, I received my math test back. I lost points for not including the solutions that were imaginary numbers. I told my teacher I didn't write them down because they are imaginary. I got the points back. MLIA

>: DO NOT TURN INTO A TROLL!

[ - ]  kevinsofttacoGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
How many of these did you do?

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Toyds!!! Don't turn into a troll! </3

[ - ]  AKissGoodnightGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
A troll??

A troll: Someone who posts garbage/spam/fucking annoying things/ over and over and over until we all want to rip out their guts.

[ - ]  kevinsofttacoGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Yes. A troll. Please, you do not know, justfuckinggoogleit.com

[ - ]  AKissGoodnightGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
I know what a troll is. I was wondering why they were calling the person a troll. Calm down.

Is your test: "Let's see how many people I can get reactions out of?" Serious question.

[ - ]  kevinsofttacoGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Meh. Chill you guys. She figured out how to comment BEFORE the story is posted and WAS ACTUALLY TESTING it. She said on the last comment that she was sorry and there there're a couple more.

Imaginary? I am lost...

Maybe you didn't learn this yet, but the imaginary number "i" is the square root of -1.

[ - ]  agirllikeannabelleGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
I see now.

Imaginary numbers are quite confusing at first.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
They are, but once you understand them, they're quite interesting, (or maybe I'm just a nerd). It's been a while since I've studied them so I barely remember a thing, but I kind of wish I did. :D

I like them.

[ - ]  zmcgGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
I like them too! I read them as "floating above the ruler or number line like ghosts."

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 6Bad: 02 years ago
Yep, there are imaginary numbers studied in most Algebra classes, and there is no way in hell OP got their points back with that "excuse".

[ - ]  NinaJaGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
OP=BS.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
Hot, steaming, stinking heap of BS.

[ - ]  waffledragonGood: 7Bad: 02 years ago
This story is probably imaginary.

[ - ]  waffledragonGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
Whatcha doin here? You shoulda been posted somewhere else... oopsies.

[ - ]  eabowieGood: 2Bad: 12 years ago
Like the square root of -25. To get -25, you have to multiply -5*5, and they aren't the same, so root -25 is imaginary. Or it doesn't exist... I get them confused.

[ - ]  agirllikeannabelleGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Thank you!

[ - ]  iPirateGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
They're not just the square root, they're even numbered roots, ie. square root, 4ht root, 6th root etc etc, of negative numbers. If it's odd numbered roots then it works, e.g cube root of -125 = -5. -5x-5x-5. Unfortunately I haven't studied this topic, so I don't know much about it...

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 6Bad: 02 years ago
No you didn't. Stop lying to us.

Haha. This is probably Op thinking what they should've said.

Yes...master...*walks to check e-mail whilst dragging left foot*

Ohhhh. I see how it is. *pouts*

*stupidity

[ - ]  MelodydramaGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
Do you take us all for idiots? I'm guessing not all of us are 12 years old and don't understand the concept of imaginary numbers.

[ - ]  MelodydramaGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
It's confusing if you don't get them. It's stupid if you do, no insults meant to people that are actually too young to have learned this in school.

[ - ]  agirllikeannabelleGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
I don't... *cowers in fear*.

[ - ]  MelodydramaGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
I'm sorry, I was just insulted by the stupidity of this post, and if you actually haven't learned it in school then it's not stupid that you don't but the fact that they are supposed to understand them but continue to make idiotic statements makes me want to punch a chair.

What are imaginary numbers?

[ - ]  ChuckMyLifeGood: 5Bad: 12 years ago
They tickle your feet, making you giggle when you sleep.

[ - ]  jlcn24Good: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Really? I thought it was the little trolls

[ - ]  ChuckMyLifeGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Imaginary numbers ARE little trolls, silly.

[ - ]  jlcn24Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Oh,jaja.. It actually does look like a little troll tickling my feet, look: i (think about it)

[ - ]  jlcn24Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
when you're typing it, not when it gets posted

[ - ]  waffledragonGood: 7Bad: 02 years ago
i don't like this. (The i was intentionally left lowercase)

[ - ]  iPhone13Good: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Ha good one...I overlooked that.

You clever cold blooded thing with wings and waffles, you!

That's funny! I get it! :D

What really happened: OP failed his/her math test, he/she got beaten by their grandmother because of said failing.

[ - ]  NamelessOrganismGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
The PG 13 version is that OP failed test and the grandmother said she was dissapointed.

[ - ]  FiveOne83Good: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Wow, that was stupid. And FAKE.

If I said that to my teacher, I would look at as a smart-aleck. She never gives us points back or extra credit. You're lucky.
