MyLifeIsAverage

Life is pretty normal today.
My boyfriend is fighting in afghanistan right now and doesn't get to check his email, but his CO lets them go on MLIA to keep their spirits up. So Taylor, you're the daddy of a little princess now, and I plan to make sure you keep your promise and come home in one piece, I love you. MLIA.

I'd put this at a 7 or so. There have been worse.

[ - ]  ClicheScale1to10Good: 13Bad: 12 years ago
Getting MLIAs submitted for personal reasons, or to send messages score an automatic 10.

PENIS.

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 25Bad: 482 years ago
Sex before marriage is a sin

[ - ]  NastyGood: 14Bad: 282 years ago
No it's not.

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 19Bad: 252 years ago
'Tis immoral.

[ - ]  Ninja_Pirate1623Good: 18Bad: 162 years ago
and we care...?

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 15Bad: 102 years ago
Never said you did. It's just that a lot of times it can lead to relationship problems and heartache.

[ - ]  0nyxGood: 10Bad: 52 years ago
Experienced..?

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 9Bad: 72 years ago
No. I have not experienced this. I know people that have experienced it, though.

[ - ]  Ninja_Pirate1623Good: 6Bad: 42 years ago
Right.>.>

[ - ]  band_geek4lifeGood: 21Bad: 42 years ago
obviously they love each other. yea it's wrong but i'm sure you've done some wrong stuff too. everyone does. who are you to judge?

[ - ]  whatonearthGood: 3Bad: 72 years ago
i agree

[ - ]  heymochimochaGood: 17Bad: 62 years ago
wat is your problom? maybe they're GETTING married after the war

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 9Bad: 342 years ago
Yeah, but war changes people. How does she know that his priorities are gonna be the same? You can't count on these things.

[ - ]  andydawg8891Good: 13Bad: 382 years ago
Maybe she stole his sperm while he was sleeping and he doesn't know that she was pregnant.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 16Bad: 32 years ago
So are you saying that no one should marry a soldier? War changes people and time changes people our life experiences change us. So should no one marry at all?

[ - ]  metalgeekGood: 14Bad: 62 years ago
But, you said it was my little princess!

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 11Bad: 32 years ago
No, she said you ARE a little princess. *hands q-tip* Here, use this to clean out your ears.

[ - ]  0nyxGood: 11Bad: 22 years ago
He needs something for his eyes.

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 15Bad: 42 years ago
Why is a prince fighting in a war?

[ - ]  pieratGood: 11Bad: 32 years ago
He's actually a king. If he got killed, who knows what would happen to his country?

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 13Bad: 42 years ago
Poor country. Then it would be left to rule by OP.

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 11Bad: 12 years ago
That just wouldn't do! I think I'd make it a dictatorship. I've always wanted to be a monarch. Or something along those lines.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 14Bad: 02 years ago
You guys realize that the English princes really have been serving in Afghanistan right?

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 4Bad: 02 years ago
Yes.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 8Bad: 02 years ago
They are fight in war to lead their country and to protect people.

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 7Bad: 42 years ago
That's nice. I wouldn't protect people if I was a prince. I would sit inside the palace all day and just wallow in my wealth.

[ - ]  mrbeanrulesGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
Wealth isn't very good for wallowing; I've tried. You want to wallow either in mediocrity or a mid-range income.

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 7Bad: 32 years ago
Prince Harry. Case and point.

[ - ]  NotPumpkinGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
Only the English...

[ - ]  mrbeanrulesGood: 6Bad: 02 years ago
I don't know where you're from, so I might be wrong, but I believe the colloquial expression you are attempting to use is "case in point", not "case and point".

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Prince Harry?

[ - ]  RexleGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
The prince of England dear.

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
We also have a William

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 3Bad: 02 years ago
And a Charles. And an Andrew. And an Edward. I could go on.

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 3Bad: 02 years ago
*One of the princes. We have many.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 2Bad: 22 years ago
I know, I was suggesting to OP. I'm English and know who the 2nd son of Prince Charles is.

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
Historically, princes received better training than regular soldiers, and fought in plenty of wars.

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 9Bad: 12 years ago
This is true. But if I was a prince, I'd rather sit on my lazy ass and get fed grapes by pretty women.

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 15Bad: 12 years ago
Or pretty men. Whatever works.

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 11Bad: 12 years ago
Or both.

[ - ]  andydawg8891Good: 25Bad: 02 years ago
I don't understand why a CO wouldn't let them check E-mail, but allow MLIA. That's dumb.

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 15Bad: 22 years ago
How else would OP get a fake story posted?

[ - ]  RexleGood: 9Bad: 02 years ago
Two years ago soldiers werent allowed to get on Myspace and Facebook. They changed it a while back but maybe his CO stuck with it.

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 9Bad: 92 years ago
So he's your boyfriend AND your dad?

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 4Bad: 172 years ago
Ha!

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 4Bad: 182 years ago
Ha!

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 2Bad: 102 years ago
Damn, another double post.

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 4Bad: 112 years ago
Ha!

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 3Bad: 112 years ago
Ha!

[ - ]  hurrderpGood: 3Bad: 112 years ago
Ha!

[ - ]  NotPumpkinGood: 13Bad: 12 years ago
I feel bad saying mean stuff about this one >.<

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 7Bad: 02 years ago
Same here. But I'd like to know how OP is going to make sure he keeps his promise.

[ - ]  NotPumpkinGood: 2Bad: 52 years ago
*she *her. I should hope, anyway...

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 5Bad: 12 years ago
What? No, he (Taylor) keeps his promise of coming home in one piece. ;D *licks elbow*

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 3Bad: 12 years ago
Hey OP! Whats the capital of Afghanistan[?]

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 3Bad: 72 years ago
Is it eye-raq? HURF DURF

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 2Bad: 22 years ago
Kabul? I actually don't know, but that's my guess.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 1Bad: 12 years ago
Capital A :D OP dosent seem to know this though.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Yes your correct it is Kabul.

[ - ]  ismellikechlorineGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Not your, you're. As in the conjunction of you and are. You will drive me insane.

[ - ]  davidggGood: 13Bad: 32 years ago
Congrats with your girl and support the troops and come back home!

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 2Bad: 92 years ago
Oh dear...

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 8Bad: 182 years ago
You know, you can still be in one piece when you're dead. I mean, the whole, 'Rest In Piece,' thing wouldn't make sense otherwise.

[ - ]  Spider_ManGood: 5Bad: 12 years ago
I used to think it ment something scary because I'd only see it written as R.I.P.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
*peace

[ - ]  Spider_ManGood: 3Bad: 22 years ago
*facepalm* It was a JOKE.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 0Bad: 22 years ago
Doh!

[ - ]  Gamer0309Good: 12Bad: 42 years ago
God bless the US Military

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 5Bad: 232 years ago
No, God Bless Vagina.

[ - ]  Gamer0309Good: 2Bad: 72 years ago
That too

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Maybe there is a homophone of piece *stokes chin*

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Peace.

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 6Bad: 02 years ago
*strokes. I think stoking it might be a bit more painful.

[ - ]  xoXdancerXoxGood: 6Bad: 42 years ago
OP, you do know that countries are capitilized, right? So "afghanistan" is really Afghanistan.

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 2Bad: 52 years ago
You know, I think this sounds more like either the Canadian or British military, the US military is mostly stationed in other countries, like Iraq.

[ - ]  andydawg8891Good: 3Bad: 12 years ago
The US has increased pressure in Afghanistan in hopes of killing more Al-Queda(sp?) members.

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 3Bad: 12 years ago
Al-Qaeda

[ - ]  andydawg8891Good: 1Bad: 02 years ago
Thank You.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
We have trrops all over Afghanistan. My fience, many of my friends husbands, a several of my friends have been deployed to Afghanistan. I really can only think of a couple people i know who have been deployed to Iraq.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 1Bad: 02 years ago
By the way I am American.

[ - ]  mrbeanrulesGood: 0Bad: 52 years ago
What's a "trrop"? Can I assume you mean troop, or is trrop an obscure US Military term?

[ - ]  HogwartsBandGood: 7Bad: 02 years ago
and I'm sure you've NEVER made a typo

[ - ]  RexleGood: 0Bad: 02 years ago
Thank you HogwartsBand.

[ - ]  heymochimochaGood: 2Bad: 22 years ago
wat are you guys talking about? if his daughter is a PRINCESS then he's a KING

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
Not necessarily. William and Harry are still called prince even though their father is one too.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
Well we can tell you don't live in a monarchy. A princess dosent even have to direct lineage from the monarch i.e Princess Alexandra

[ - ]  DarlasaurusGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
:)))

[ - ]  IlanabooGood: 5Bad: 02 years ago
Poor guy, though.. Considering that it takes at least a month for any published story to get through, he'd been a dad for quite a while before he got to know it.. I think I would have settled for a phone call, telegram or even a letter, would have been quite a lot faster..

[ - ]  RexleGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
It takes quite awhile for letters to reach Afghanistan, then they have to be sorted in the mail room.

[ - ]  Xanadu101Good: 7Bad: 32 years ago
... I hate to break it to everybody, but there isn't a CO in the world that would allow a soldier to read MLIA is s/he wasn't allowed to read e-mail that might be from their family and friends, especially one expecting a child >.> This is fake.

[ - ]  CWalters2008Good: 6Bad: 02 years ago
Not necessarily. My husband is currently deployed and their internet will not allow yahoo and other email/ networking sites to load all their content without messing up the connection for everyone so they are not allowed to go to high content sites. MLIA is simple and doesnt use alot of bandwidth to load.

[ - ]  yosupkbyeGood: 3Bad: 02 years ago
awwwwww!

[ - ]  confidence_is_keyGood: 5Bad: 32 years ago
if this is true i think its sweet. but also you obviously should get married first! im not gunna judge thought cuz its not my business..... congrats man and thank you soooo much for serving for your country :D

[ - ]  asiansRawesomeGood: 2Bad: 02 years ago
if this is true, its beyond sweet and i wish u people the best of luck! if its fake, theres obviously something wrong with u for doing it.....

[ - ]  BonJovi821Good: 5Bad: 22 years ago
Even if this were to be real, why wouldn't you include a last name, or maybe your name? I'm sure there's more than one "Taylor" in the ENTIRE army.

[ - ]  symiva79Good: 3Bad: 02 years ago
Congrats on the baby girl!

taylor... like, taylor lautner? cause that's just awesome.
