Today, my computer notified me that "YOU HAVE MAIL." I'm dyslexic, so I thought that my computer had told me that "YOU HAVE MLIA." I was thoroughly disappointed when I discovered that it was plain old mail. MLIA
I think people need to really understand what dyslexia is before they start writing things like this. Dyslexia would not cause you to make that mistake.
crazyhat18, my little sister is dyslexic and I can tell you that it will not cause you to think that MAIL is MLIA. Dyslexica is not a simple mixing of letters but rather a confusion of syllables and sounds, not individual letters. Therefor a dyslexic is more likely to mistake MAIL for something that sounds similar. This is an attempt at a joke of a MLIA, one of those so called "Frauds."
Also I'm not saying that this person did not mistake MAIL for MLIA, but that is not a fault of dyslexica (it is also illogical because they would have seen that "You have Mail" message plenty times before and would be accustomed to what it says).
