Yesterday, after reading the MLIA about Antidaephobia, I decided to try it on my friend. I went up to her and asked, "Do you suffer from antidaephobia?" "What?" "The fear that somewhere a duck is watching you." She told me it was ridiculous and no one can be afraid of ducks. Today, I went up to her with a rubber duck and whispered "quack" into her ear. ....Anatidaephobia was a term made up by Gary Larson for one of his comics. Anatidae is the scientific term for the biological family that makes up ducks, geese, and swans.
