In every public school I've been to, you're not allowed to chew gum. But if you get caught, teachers just tell you to spit it out. I find that to be much more average.

It's likely that nobody will ever read this and writing this will be a waste of time, but I just want to thank all of the MLIA community. Even the OPs, because it gave us commenters a reason to comment and be socially awkward with each other and form incredible friendships. In my case, this happened. The difference between MLIA and sites like Reddit or other forum groups, is that this site was more than that. It was more than a community. It was like a family. This site has died, but I will never regret all the time I spent on here. I'm sure most people see it as a waste, but by doing so I have met so many amazing people who I love. Thank you, mek and guru for creating this website. It has been almost life changing.

^ This. This this this. I couldn't have said it better myself. This place has been such a great outlet to come to when you want to let off some steam, or are feeling down or whatever. Also good when you want to share happiness too. And just life in general. I know I've never really gotten involved in anyone's personal lives here, and that all I do is leave a comment about the post with an occasional reply to a comment now and then. Honestly, I'm not even sure how much people would care if I did leave. But I love this community so much and the fact that it's practically dead makes me sad. Anyways, I'm sorry to see you go... You were one of the last good commenters left. Although now you'll probably never read this because it sounds like you are not going to return but yeah. Those are my feelings on the subject.
