Today, my friend, who always uses perfect spelling and grammar in his text messages texted me. He left out the period at the end of the sentence which is odd for him. I immediately recieved a text with just a period. Then another right after saying, "Sorry my period was late there, stuff happens, you know? Next thing you know you're phone is pregnant." Best.
