Today while at work as a cashier, I was getting annoyed by people always asking questions about local news as if we cashiers were expected to always know everything about everybody. I later realized that cashiers in small stores are like innkeepers in video games, since we do tend to overhear a lot of news from customers. From now on I plan to pretend I'm assisting people in a quest whenever they ask questions. MLIA.
