I recently moved to China to work as a teacher. In an effort to engage the students and show them something that they would recognize from their own culture, as well as teach them some English I showed them the Disney movie Mulan. I wanted to make their night by showing them something fun, but they ended up making my night by informing me that any Chinese writing throughout the movie actually says different kinds of food. MLIA
