Today, In science we were taking a quiz i forgot to study for. When the first question came up it said, "what are the two different types of bonds? and what makes them different?" I didn't know so instead of leaving it blank i wrote, "That's an easy question. The two different kinds of bonds are James Bond and Barry Bonds. The difference is that Barry uses steroids and James doesn't." I didn't get an A, but i got a high five. MLIA

Actually there are many more then 2. There is inter- and intramolecular which are within a molecule and inbetween molecules respectivly. Then both break down to covalent and ionic which is the atoms share the electrons and one atom takes the others electrons, again respectivally. Covalent can then be broken down to polar and non polar which are just equal sharing or non equal sharing of electrons between the atoms. There are other types of sub-bonding classifications but i think i made my point and explaind further.

Awesome:) But the answer is Covalent bonds and Ionic bonds. Covalent is when the atoms share. Ionic is just lending/borrowing. (We had the same question on our quiz)
