The other day when I was at the movies with my friends we bought food and were 36 cents short. The cashier took 50 cents out of his pocket and put it in the cash register. He then gave us the 14 cents change. Now that's a gentlemen. MLIA.
That sentence, the one that you just gave me, was really tastey, delicious and fresh, but not like Fresh Prince fresh, more like new apple fresh, if you know what I mean.
I usually, but not all the time, have a really strong, but not overly strong, stomach, the thing in my stomach, for those kinds of things. *vomits* Maybe not.
Where did the other gentlemen come from? I only saw one gentleman in that post, if we count the lazy cashier as a gentleman. Personally, I don't, but apparently the plurally-challenged OP did.
I work at a movie theater and I used to do that a lot too. That's actually the reason why I carry change in my pockets when going to work. It's just a little awkward sometimes to watch people who are a little short and have to put whatever back.
I wouldn't call that a gentleman, exactly. I work at a grocery store and I've done that too. I'm a girl. Everyone (both genders) at my work does that too. It's being polite. And as mcfatty said, it saves from being awkward and making them put something back.
