MyLifeIsAverage

Life is pretty normal today.
On a History test we were asked, "Who was Michelangelo?". I answered, "Renowned artist/Ninja Turtle. Wore an orange headband. Weapon: daggers." My teacher marked this wrong and wrote back "WEAPON: NUN CHUCKS. CHECK YOUR FACTS." Teenage Mutant Ninja Teacher? Awesome. MLIA

at least you didn't get full credit for that fail. but it was humorous non the less.

[ - ]  Boehm815Good: 60Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
At least you didn't say "I got 15 points extra credit and was guaranteed an A for both semesters."

God, yes. I know.

Yes! When I first started the MLIA, I was fully prepared to "meh", but was extremely pleased that they did not get any sort of credit.

Probably lying. "Nun Chucks" isn't a word, nunchaku is.

Go back to FML, we have no doubters here. =P

[ - ]  dairymilk42Good: 5Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
yeah- maybe. But who the hell knows the word nunchaku?? I, for one, know 'nun chucks'...

your lying

[ - ]  freddylunchGood: 7Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
Actually they can be called either, true nunchucks is one word but you didn't say that and I doubt anyone would be confused by what you said if you spilt it into two.

[ - ]  RobinHood3000Good: 3Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
Even Michelangelo himself calls them "Nunchucks" from time to time, just let it go.

Egg. Stop pretending to be Asian. :P

Because that's what's out of place in this picture...if you're going to doubt, check your facts. Nunchaku is the proper term but when it hit the Western world and got romanized into English, a little something was lost in the translation. Happens all the time. Kung Fu actually translates better into "skill" or "ability." It doesn't literally translate into martial arts or "butt kicking." And yet, everyone calls Bruce Lee a Kung Fu master.

I love this because you didn't get credit and it's still awesome.

[ - ]  NoneOfYourBusinessGood: 4Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
The teacher in this post is new this year, straight out of college. I feel ashamed for not knowing he had nun chucks (nunchuka :P).

[ - ]  NicoleAlexandraGood: 1Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
Wooh, at first I was worried that he might have given you full points

[ - ]  MoonwalkerGood: 5Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
Umm I do believe that this teacher kicks ass. But way to try and sneak in an actually correct answer, as in: "Renowned artist." And extra points to your teacher for marking it wrong, yet still trying to be funny. True MLIA.

[ - ]  roshamboeGood: 1Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
duh man, Rafael is the one with the daggers. I can't believe you got that wrong.

[ - ]  XiberrasGood: 0Bad: 22 years, 4 months ago
It's Raphael, and he didn't have daggers, he had sais. The difference being that daggers have blades, and sais are dull around the edges and their purpose is to repel blades. They're the exact opposite of daggers, if anything.

[ - ]  crazynoviceGood: 1Bad: 02 years, 4 months ago
Hahaha you can't put down awesome answers like that if you are gonna get them wrong!! :P

[ - ]  MehPlusRawrGood: 0Bad: 22 years, 4 months ago
Sorry, didn't mean to troll. I was grumpy, had little sleep, and noticed a typo. I'm a very angry amateur grammar nazi when I'm tired. XD.
