Life is pretty normal today.

Today, I stuck a hand into my coat pocket and found five dollars. Wrapped inside of the five dollars, there was a note. "You have just been reverse pickpocketed. Enjoy this five dollars in knowing that it was forcibly received by your pocket; take that, society." I then proceeded to stick both the money and note into another victim's pocket.

Hah, there's an Australian comedy/talk show type thing called Rove. A couple of the guys from the show went out into the street and filmed it. They called it put-pocketing, I think.

Anyway, I think it's a cool idea haha.

Instead of passing on the five dollars, I'd have kept the five, but passed on three ones. Then I'd have kept up the put-pocketing, but I'd have also gotten some of the money... I'm now thinking about doing this sometime on my college campus...

But the flow on effect of everyone doing that.. you'd end up with the last person in the chain getting like 10 cents.

(Or.. a penny? What do you call 1cent in the US? In NZ the smallest coin you can get is 10c. You know what I mean!)

I did this today. Read it last night, found a dollar bill lying on the ground at my busstop, and thought, "Why not?" It's a whole hell of a lot harder than it looks. Cool thing is though I saw the guy stick it in someone else's pocket in the hall later. :)
