Today, I came back from spending the summer with my mother. My parents are divorced. My dad picked me up from the airport and we drove to a campsite where I met his girlfriend for the first time that he's been seeing for the past 3 months. She introduced herself by turning on a flashlight and saying "Lumos" while doing so. I hope they get married. MLIA

Life is pretty normal today.
Today, we had a blackout in my house. Because I couldn't use the computer or watch TV, I was reading Harry Potter. Whenever it came to a spell I would say it out loud. When I said "Lumos!" the lights came on. I felt powerful. I then said "Nox." Nothing happened. I still felt powerful. MLIA.
Today, my friends and I were in the Wal-Mart parking lot when a car drove by with their lights off. My friends starting yelling at the poeple to turn the lights on, but they couldn't understand them. I then yelled "LUMOS!". The people understood and the lights turned on. Thank you Hogwarts.
Today I was sitting on my friends porch. They have automatic porch lights that turn on at 6 o'clock. I waited until 5:59 and shouted "Lumos" at the lights. They turned on. I feel like a wizard. MLIA
Last night I couldn't find the light switch in the dark so I yelled 'Lumos!' at the wall. Then my dad comes down the hall, yells 'Petrificus Totalus' at me, and turns the switch that was on the other wall. He calls me an idiot and goes back to bed. I love my dad. MLIA.
Today, I made a Harry Potter wand. I decided to test it out by saying lumos to the lightswitch. The power went out. I'm now convinced I am a wizard. MLIA
