MyLifeIsAverage

Life is pretty normal today.
today, after a long battle with Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS), a condition that causes severe seizures, my younger brother died last night. This is his favorite website and he could never get a post o it. Here's to you, Luke Andrews.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace- you and your family are in my prayers.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 47Bad: 731 year, 12 months ago
I hope you know this type of post is one of the fakest posts you could ever post to MLIA.

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 26Bad: 381 year, 12 months ago
Don't be so god damn nice. I good-ed you though, for being so god damn nice.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 16Bad: 231 year, 12 months ago
That is the first time in my life anyone has called me nice *hyperventilates*

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 15Bad: 141 year, 12 months ago
*looks around awkwardly* Um...yes...I was talking to..you.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 6Bad: 141 year, 12 months ago
Ha caught it, but you beat me to it! Awesome, I thought I was in the Twilight Zone.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 2Bad: 81 year, 12 months ago
OR reply fail now that I look at it! That would make more sense, no?

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 1Bad: 91 year, 12 months ago
Not exactly a reply fail. But what ever.

[ - ]  ShroomsOnAcidGood: 0Bad: 81 year, 12 months ago
Kinda, you musta hit the wrong reply button.

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 12Bad: 81 year, 12 months ago
If he was real. It's hard to be taken seriously when you just type "FAKE" on this site, but it is the truth, and some people do crazy things to get their story posted.

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 8Bad: 91 year, 12 months ago
Proof: first google results for "Luke Andrews obituary" on google are all about some guy in the army who died of possibly depression.

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 5Bad: 11 year, 11 months ago
do you really think google is going to keep track of every Luke Andrews in the world?

[ - ]  YourFatherGood: 8Bad: 71 year, 12 months ago
@canudance02 don't be sorry, OP is a liar. Nerve Attenuation Syndrome is a fictional sickness.

[ - ]  kkay459Good: 7Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Its good of you to say that, but whoever said this below was right, i looked it up(cuz I have no life), and Nerve Attenuation Syndrome is a fictional disease made up for a movie. Also, I think even if it was real, and and the only syptom was seizures it'd be managagable, plenty of people live with epilepsy.

[ - ]  CanYouHandleTheRandomGood: 8Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
I feel a deep twang of corralation in my absent minded stomach. Here is to all you puffins out there...

[ - ]  deathtoelmoGood: 12Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
I don 19t mean to be mean or rude when I say this, but if this is a fake I am really annoyed, and also you should have checked you grammar if it was a tribute to your brother.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 18Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
He died last night? Shouldn't you be mourning and not posting stories on this site?

[ - ]  xfuckxGood: 8Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
just about to say that.

[ - ]  MobileGood: 12Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Last night 8 weeks ago.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 2Bad: 71 year, 12 months ago
Same difference Mobile.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 10Bad: 91 year, 12 months ago
If any of you have ever been in mourning, you should know that you don't just sit around moping every waking second of the day. Obviously this person was mourning if they wanted to make a tribute to their brother. Jeez.

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 8Bad: 51 year, 12 months ago
Jeez. If they wanted to make a REAL tribute, they would've capitalized the first letter of the story. Okay?

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 1Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
a REAL tribute would be when they're sorry for their loss and hope that others will respect that. What if this was real? You would feel like shit if your brother died AND people were calling you liars on top of it.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 4Bad: 61 year, 12 months ago
The kid 'died' a few hours ago. Well it's weeks ago now, but usually when you're in mourning you're spending time with family members.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 5Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
Well when you die, I'll make an MLIA tribute for you all too. Maybe you'll appreciate it then.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 2Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
That doesn't make sense, now that I think about it. You probably really won't care.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 3Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
How would I be able to appreciate if if I was dead...

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 1Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
I won't be able to. I'll be dead.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 3Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Glad to know we think alike... Maybe they couldn't see the bad grammar through their tears?

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 0Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
They still could...

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 7Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
I will remind you one time: IT IS THE GODDAMN INTERNET! Anyone can do anything over the Internet, hell, I could be some creeper from across the street that is watching you. I could be a serial killer, and you wouldn't have a fucking clue. So quit acting like this is actually happened and move on.

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 0Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
You never posted a tribute to me...

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 9Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Aaaauuuggghhhh! People take things way too seriously!!! Okay, Person Who Posted This Story, If this is real, I'm sorry for your loss. If it's fake, you suck. There ya go. Goodbye.

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 1Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Goodbye...

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Finally! Why can't they take this down like they did with that one after the day-long post.

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Google the disease. Seriously.

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Ha! I did, and I'm going to show that to my brother who thinks these posts are true.

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 0Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
Your family would.

[ - ]  MobileGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
No, I won't. I'll be fucking DEAD!

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Try refreshing the page...

[ - ]  breathecarolinafanGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Don't tell Mobile how to live his life.

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 0Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Why?

[ - ]  AbigailRenee17Good: 0Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
it also says "today" then "last night"

[ - ]  zmcgGood: 6Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Maybe you could check your grammar in his honor...

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 7Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago
Okay, so your brother died, and you don't even bother to captitalize the post about him? And may I remind you OP, this is not a fucking obituary!

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
I'm not in the mood. Waiting for the next post...

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 0Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago

Did that hurt you? I am so sorry.

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
I had some real trouble reading some of the words you wrote, but I see now that you have a ledgible accent.

[ - ]  AKissGoodnightGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
That's the first time I've ever typed like that. Aggravation.

[ - ]  TheRealSomaliPirateGood: 7Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
I just want to say, that most people mourn over the dead, not post stories about them on websites. If you cared, you probably should be comforting family members and stuff. Just saying. (Arrrrgh)

[ - ]  themashedpotatomasterGood: 4Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Oooh on my screen there's an add for pinched nerve treatment. Who wants to sign up with me?

No they don't. I didn't see that ad.

[ - ]  badlydrawnboyGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
I'm not so sure. For the longest time I've had that vampire vs. werewolf ad, and I found out someone had something for Utah at the same time. But maybe it's an exception?

[ - ]  AJandersonGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Damn. I keep seeing the same ads as other commenters. Which state/country do you guys live in?

[ - ]  deathtoelmoGood: 3Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Usually this type of memorial for a person is fake! If it is real, then sorry to them and I hope they get through it, but seriously what sane person would have a family death then think in their mind... OH MY BROTHER LIKED THIS INTERNET THING, I will just ignore my family and post something on the site about him.

[ - ]  thecookiejarGood: 5Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
I'm not sure if all of these posts are fake or not, and I don't want to be rude, so I'll refrain from complaining about this particular post. *taps foot and whistles a catchy tune while waiting for new post*

[ - ]  MysteryIncGood: 3Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago

So your brother "died" and you're on a site like this? Get a life, and stop posting fake shit.

[ - ]  gr8ingGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome", huh? That's a A Keanu Reeves throwback and a half. Perhaps an ad for a terrible, terrible funk band? Well done.

[ - ]  AKissGoodnightGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
*waits very impatiently for a new post* Holy hell.

[ - ]  kissmegreeneyesGood: 5Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Go google the "disease" because its not real. it was made up for the 1995 movie johnny mnemonic.

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Seriously, I feel like I'm going to throw up right now. Like my hands are shaking and I can feel my heart pounfing in my chest...

[ - ]  PERFECTLYparGood: 5Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
This is sickening. Google "Nerve Attenuation Syndrome".

[ - ]  Ashlizzle38Good: 0Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
I did. The whole fun of MLIA is when the stories are real, not when people make hem up just to get sympathy.

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 6Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
It's a fake disease... Damn me for trusting people!!! When will I learn???

[ - ]  doctorzombie7Good: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
And I call myself a doctor...

[ - ]  dancerqueenGood: 8Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
wow. this shows how sick and twisted people in this world can be. they used a fake disease to get a story posted. yes, it is fake, i did google it and this came up: "Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS) is a fictional disease in the film, which is not present in the short story." It was for a Johnny Mnemonic film. This post makes me sick.

[ - ]  ProceedGood: 7Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome" Is from a movie. Screw this post.

[ - ]  shutyourpieholeGood: 5Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
the OP's though process: "Hey, i am really bored right now." *walks over to computer and goes on MLIA* "heyy i have an idea...let's fake a brother dying because thats what all the cool cats do!" "And since i just heard of this disease on a movie, i will use NAS" *post published* "YESS I CAN BE COOL NOW" your not cool you stupid idiot. stupid person.

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 1Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
why did MLIA even publish it?!

[ - ]  ibleedguardGood: 7Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS) is a fictional disease in the film, which is not present in the short story." Wikipedia post for the movie Johnny Mnemonic. You could have at least come up it a real disease if you wanted people to actually believe this story.

[ - ]  missliz415Good: 0Bad: 11 year, 11 months ago
shouldn't trust WIKIPEDIA!!!

[ - ]  HuitepGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Holy crap people. Did you google this disease ? IT'S FAKE!!!!!!!!! Stupid retards.

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 0Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
I have no friends that is dead, i'm not betting on who's gonna Get a story posted here first with my dad. I just a guy that wants a story posted here. MLIA

[ - ]  Ashlizzle38Good: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
You mean you have no friends that ARE dead. I despise improper grammar.

I don't give a shit if this is real or fake. Fuck this Luke Andrews person.

I'm '

[ - ]  pReCiOuSgArBaGeGood: 2Bad: 61 year, 12 months ago
It's unfortunate that all you people have time to do is bitch at the person that wrote the story when you should be bitching about the people that voted this story to be published on this site. I've started reading this site less and less because of people who are constant assholes about how much they don't "believe" the post, or how "fake" they think it is and they have to spill their negativity onto everyone else. Shut up, grow up and move the fuck on.

[ - ]  quakecryGood: 0Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago
I hope my littlesis dies so i can Get a story published here. Tho she is healthy and 3 1/2 years ild. That sucks, that she is healthy.

[ - ]  pReCiOuSgArBaGeGood: 0Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
It's too bad you have no idea how to spell correctly. *Though, and *Old.

[ - ]  floridagirl101Good: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
AND i went on wikipedia and type NAS in . it came out FICTIONAL DISEASE god, next time you want to break someones heart, at least get the facts right

[ - ]  BmoneyGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Yup totally fake. NAS is a disease from a movie. You could have at least used a real disease. ;)

[ - ]  fosterGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago

brenna. youre an idiot if you believe this. google NAS

[ - ]  randy_laheyGood: 1Bad: 11 year, 11 months ago
I understand that it sucks to lose someone, but these are getting very repetitive, and i wouldn't want to bore people with the details of my death on MLIA. I don't think any of the people who died of REAL diseases would want their name on their for a depressing story..

[ - ]  randy_laheyGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
there* (that was a terrible grammatical error... I know).

[ - ]  whereisxanthusGood: 5Bad: 21 year, 11 months ago
I hate it when these are posted on MLIA. They aren't funny or anything and the dead person (if he/she even exsists) can't read it, can they?

[ - ]  rubakisGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
I didn't even have to look up the disease. OP said "Today," and then he "died last night" Even someone mourning wouldn't get that wrong.

[ - ]  iBeMaryGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
If this is real, it must be terrible to lose him. If this is fake, you're sick -.-

[ - ]  greenandahalfGood: 0Bad: 41 year, 11 months ago

[ - ]  BlargheimGood: 0Bad: 11 year, 11 months ago

my best friend's younger brother died of a seizure earlier this week. Regardless of whether or not this is fake, it's a horrible idea and this kind of thing really does happen. so stop going crazy over little things and realize the meaning behind it.

Regardless of whether or not NAS is a fictional disease or not I feel sorry for you and your family. I understand what it feels like to have a family member die of seisures which is really hard. Hope you and your family feel better.
