today, after a long battle with Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS), a condition that causes severe seizures, my younger brother died last night. This is his favorite website and he could never get a post o it. Here's to you, Luke Andrews.
I'm so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace- you and your family are in my prayers.
*looks around awkwardly* Um...yes...I was talking to..you.
If he was real. It's hard to be taken seriously when you just type "FAKE" on this site, but it is the truth, and some people do crazy things to get their story posted.
Proof: first google results for "Luke Andrews obituary" on google are all about some guy in the army who died of possibly depression.
do you really think google is going to keep track of every Luke Andrews in the world?
@canudance02 don't be sorry, OP is a liar. Nerve Attenuation Syndrome is a fictional sickness.
Its good of you to say that, but whoever said this below was right, i looked it up(cuz I have no life), and Nerve Attenuation Syndrome is a fictional disease made up for a movie. Also, I think even if it was real, and and the only syptom was seizures it'd be managagable, plenty of people live with epilepsy.
I feel a deep twang of corralation in my absent minded stomach. Here is to all you puffins out there...
I don 19t mean to be mean or rude when I say this, but if this is a fake I am really annoyed, and also you should have checked you grammar if it was a tribute to your brother.
He died last night? Shouldn't you be mourning and not posting stories on this site?
just about to say that.
Last night 8 weeks ago.
If any of you have ever been in mourning, you should know that you don't just sit around moping every waking second of the day. Obviously this person was mourning if they wanted to make a tribute to their brother. Jeez.
Jeez. If they wanted to make a REAL tribute, they would've capitalized the first letter of the story. Okay?
a REAL tribute would be when they're sorry for their loss and hope that others will respect that. What if this was real? You would feel like shit if your brother died AND people were calling you liars on top of it.
The kid 'died' a few hours ago. Well it's weeks ago now, but usually when you're in mourning you're spending time with family members.
Well when you die, I'll make an MLIA tribute for you all too. Maybe you'll appreciate it then.
That doesn't make sense, now that I think about it. You probably really won't care.
How would I be able to appreciate if if I was dead...
I won't be able to. I'll be dead.
Glad to know we think alike... Maybe they couldn't see the bad grammar through their tears?
They still could...
I will remind you one time: IT IS THE GODDAMN INTERNET! Anyone can do anything over the Internet, hell, I could be some creeper from across the street that is watching you. I could be a serial killer, and you wouldn't have a fucking clue. So quit acting like this is actually happened and move on.
You never posted a tribute to me...
Aaaauuuggghhhh! People take things way too seriously!!! Okay, Person Who Posted This Story, If this is real, I'm sorry for your loss. If it's fake, you suck. There ya go. Goodbye.
Goodbye...
Finally! Why can't they take this down like they did with that one after the day-long post.
Google the disease. Seriously.
Ha! I did, and I'm going to show that to my brother who thinks these posts are true.
Your family would.
No, I won't. I'll be fucking DEAD!
Try refreshing the page...
Don't tell Mobile how to live his life.
Why?
it also says "today" then "last night"
Maybe you could check your grammar in his honor...
Okay, so your brother died, and you don't even bother to captitalize the post about him? And may I remind you OP, this is not a fucking obituary!
I'm not in the mood. Waiting for the next post...
'Course, now this is going to be one of those four hour posts...
Way to jinx it.
Wow fake much...
I'v read too many posts like this. It's gettin on meh nerves! Stop lettin them on hurr!
Ow...
Did that hurt you? I am so sorry.
I had some real trouble reading some of the words you wrote, but I see now that you have a ledgible accent.
That's the first time I've ever typed like that. Aggravation.
I just want to say, that most people mourn over the dead, not post stories about them on websites. If you cared, you probably should be comforting family members and stuff. Just saying. (Arrrrgh)
Oooh on my screen there's an add for pinched nerve treatment. Who wants to sign up with me?
Ooh! Pick me!
<(^.^<)
looks like the ghost in the old mario games :)
Hey, mine too!
I can pinch your nerve for you. And, for future reference, everybody sees the same ads.
Are you sure about that? Did you take a survey? *puts hand on hip all sassily like*
mines of a little guy holding boxes..
No they don't. I didn't see that ad.
I'm not so sure. For the longest time I've had that vampire vs. werewolf ad, and I found out someone had something for Utah at the same time. But maybe it's an exception?
Damn. I keep seeing the same ads as other commenters. Which state/country do you guys live in?
Tennessee.
AUSTRALIA!
California.

Oh yeah. Thanks for reminding me. Lil' bit of amnesia right there.
it is ok :]
A piece of water.
A alligtor egg collector who enjoys syncronized swimming?
ooh, feisty.
Usually this type of memorial for a person is fake! If it is real, then sorry to them and I hope they get through it, but seriously what sane person would have a family death then think in their mind... OH MY BROTHER LIKED THIS INTERNET THING, I will just ignore my family and post something on the site about him.
I'm not sure if all of these posts are fake or not, and I don't want to be rude, so I'll refrain from complaining about this particular post. *taps foot and whistles a catchy tune while waiting for new post*
*tries to whistle, but ends up spitting all over thecookiejar*
Dammit, I just drycleaned this shirt! Here, try this kazoo. It requires less skill.
But... I don't know what it is! Where do I blow?? (sorry, twas the first thing to enter my mind... o.O)
Well I don't think it's my job to discuss this sort of stuff with you...oh the kazoo? Erm...*Lois away awkwardly* Maybe you should just clap your hands or something.
*Looks away
That's what she said...
Some spam while I wait for the next post. Enjoy! 8(:3 )B
Blah, nevermind. My Youtube account is "currently unergoing some changes" so it won't let me access my Favorites... I'll be back though...
MEF!! *undergoing...
<http://dealbreaker.tumblr.com/> some of them are funnier than others... The stories are on the right hand side...
<collegehumor.com>
<amirite.net> JUST KIDDING!!
Et please email me a picture of your favourite animal... (I'm really bored... can you tell?) perfectlypar@gmail.com
Are you ok? You seem lost and confused.
So your brother "died" and you're on a site like this? Get a life, and stop posting fake shit.
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome", huh? That's a A Keanu Reeves throwback and a half. Perhaps an ad for a terrible, terrible funk band? Well done.
*waits very impatiently for a new post* Holy hell.
I think everyone 19s jinxed it now, I bet the next post will be like 2 hours away.
ITS DOING THAt THING AGAIN!!
Goodbye, I am going to go and eat dinner. Pasta for me!
Go google the "disease" because its not real. it was made up for the 1995 movie johnny mnemonic.
Seriously, I feel like I'm going to throw up right now. Like my hands are shaking and I can feel my heart pounfing in my chest...
This is sickening. Google "Nerve Attenuation Syndrome".
I did. The whole fun of MLIA is when the stories are real, not when people make hem up just to get sympathy.
It's a fake disease... Damn me for trusting people!!! When will I learn???
And I call myself a doctor...
wow. this shows how sick and twisted people in this world can be. they used a fake disease to get a story posted. yes, it is fake, i did google it and this came up:
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS) is a fictional disease in the film, which is not present in the short story."
It was for a Johnny Mnemonic film. This post makes me sick.
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome" Is from a movie. Screw this post.
the OP's though process:
"Hey, i am really bored right now."
*walks over to computer and goes on MLIA*
"heyy i have an idea...let's fake a brother dying because thats what all the cool cats do!"
"And since i just heard of this disease on a movie, i will use NAS"
*post published*
"YESS I CAN BE COOL NOW"
your not cool you stupid idiot. stupid person.
why did MLIA even publish it?!
"Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS) is a fictional disease in the film, which is not present in the short story." Wikipedia post for the movie Johnny Mnemonic. You could have at least come up it a real disease if you wanted people to actually believe this story.
shouldn't trust WIKIPEDIA!!!
Holy crap people. Did you google this disease ? IT'S FAKE!!!!!!!!! Stupid retards.
I have no friends that is dead, i'm not betting on who's gonna Get a story posted here first with my dad. I just a guy that wants a story posted here. MLIA
You mean you have no friends that ARE dead. I despise improper grammar.
I don't give a shit if this is real or fake. Fuck this Luke Andrews person.
I'm '
It's too bad you have no idea how to spell correctly. *Though, and *Old.
you...you hope your littlest dies? is that what you meant? cuz that's sick >_>
Old'
Go die asshole. As much as i hope my little sister die, i hope you die.
Aw honey, I will die, and so will you and everyone you love. That's what happens in life :)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fictional_diseases
100% FICTIONAL DISEASE. From the movie 'Johnny Mnemonic'.
Off course i dont want her dead, relax ;)
lol
really? i feel sorry for you, but mylifeisaverage is really for funny stories, not heartbreaking
this isn't real
AND i went on wikipedia and type NAS in . it came out FICTIONAL DISEASE god, next time you want to break someones heart, at least get the facts right
Yup totally fake. NAS is a disease from a movie. You could have at least used a real disease. ;)
Stop this, real or fraud. MLIA isn't an obit site.
TRUE DAT!
lololol
seriously, your dumb! why would you put that up??? your brother didn't die..FROM A FICTIONAL DISEASE?
it's not fictional, loser.
Look it up, dipshit. It's FAKE.
brenna. youre an idiot if you believe this. google NAS
I understand that it sucks to lose someone, but these are getting very repetitive, and i wouldn't want to bore people with the details of my death on MLIA. I don't think any of the people who died of REAL diseases would want their name on their for a depressing story..
there* (that was a terrible grammatical error... I know).
I hate it when these are posted on MLIA. They aren't funny or anything and the dead person (if he/she even exsists) can't read it, can they?
I didn't even have to look up the disease. OP said "Today," and then he "died last night" Even someone mourning wouldn't get that wrong.
If this is real, it must be terrible to lose him.
If this is fake, you're sick -.-
he doesnt exist..
Uh, this disease is fake, fucking moron.
youre obviously the OP
No, I'm not, I'm just showing how much bullshit is in this post.
no not you blargheim, i was replying to brennalove but i didnt refresh so yours came before me, sorry!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neural_Attenuation_Syndrome#In_other_media
Thus proving this is fake.
Why did you start it with "today"
(today my youner brother died last night) (if you take ou the comma phrase)
ummmm her brother just died and your correcting her on a stupid typo?
ummm THIS IS FAKE! idiot.... GOOGLE NAS faggot
also, ummmmmmmmm her brother just died and shes on MLIA?
*out
awww i am so sorry feel better
im so sorry for you and your family,
R.I.P Luke :(
my best friend's younger brother died of a seizure earlier this week. Regardless of whether or not this is fake, it's a horrible idea and this kind of thing really does happen. so stop going crazy over little things and realize the meaning behind it.
Regardless of whether or not NAS is a fictional disease or not I feel sorry for you and your family. I understand what it feels like to have a family member die of seisures which is really hard. Hope you and your family feel better.
um no1 can die from a fictional disease??
WOW. IT'S A FICTIONAL DISEASE.
Today, I read another one of these stories on MLIA. FML.
ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THIS OR SAYS R.I.P. IS AN IDIOT! LOOK IT UP ON GOOGLE!!!
