I'm PRETTY sure a "lockdown" is when there's an extreme emergency, ie; bomb threat, murderer, rapist, nuclear melt-down, rabid animal loose in the school...

xD I had the same thing happen at my school, except someone left a sticky note in the hallway that said "I HAVE A BOMB"

No way! This totally happened at my old high school. I wasn't there, but was shocked that the school over reacted about a fire extinguisher!
