MyLifeIsAverage

Life is pretty normal today.
My boyfriend is fighting in afghanistan right now and doesn't get to check his email, but his CO lets them go on MLIA to keep their spirits up. So Taylor, you're the daddy of a little princess now, and I plan to make sure you keep your promise and come home in one piece, I love you. MLIA.

I'd put this at a 7 or so. There have been worse.

Getting MLIAs submitted for personal reasons, or to send messages score an automatic 10.

PENIS.

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 25Bad: 481 year, 12 months ago
Sex before marriage is a sin

[ - ]  NastyGood: 14Bad: 281 year, 12 months ago
No it's not.

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 19Bad: 251 year, 12 months ago
'Tis immoral.

[ - ]  Ninja_Pirate1623Good: 18Bad: 161 year, 12 months ago
and we care...?

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 15Bad: 101 year, 12 months ago
Never said you did. It's just that a lot of times it can lead to relationship problems and heartache.

[ - ]  0nyxGood: 10Bad: 51 year, 12 months ago
Experienced..?

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 9Bad: 71 year, 12 months ago
No. I have not experienced this. I know people that have experienced it, though.

[ - ]  Ninja_Pirate1623Good: 6Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago
Right.>.>

[ - ]  band_geek4lifeGood: 21Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago

[ - ]  heymochimochaGood: 17Bad: 61 year, 12 months ago
wat is your problom? maybe they're GETTING married after the war

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 9Bad: 341 year, 12 months ago
Yeah, but war changes people. How does she know that his priorities are gonna be the same? You can't count on these things.

[ - ]  andydawg8891Good: 13Bad: 381 year, 12 months ago
Maybe she stole his sperm while he was sleeping and he doesn't know that she was pregnant.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 16Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
So are you saying that no one should marry a soldier? War changes people and time changes people our life experiences change us. So should no one marry at all?

[ - ]  metalgeekGood: 14Bad: 61 year, 12 months ago
But, you said it was my little princess!

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 11Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
No, she said you ARE a little princess. *hands q-tip* Here, use this to clean out your ears.

[ - ]  0nyxGood: 11Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
He needs something for his eyes.

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 15Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago
Why is a prince fighting in a war?

[ - ]  pieratGood: 11Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
He's actually a king. If he got killed, who knows what would happen to his country?

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 13Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago
Poor country. Then it would be left to rule by OP.

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 11Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
That just wouldn't do! I think I'd make it a dictatorship. I've always wanted to be a monarch. Or something along those lines.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 14Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
You guys realize that the English princes really have been serving in Afghanistan right?

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 4Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Yes.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 8Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
They are fight in war to lead their country and to protect people.

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 7Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago
That's nice. I wouldn't protect people if I was a prince. I would sit inside the palace all day and just wallow in my wealth.

[ - ]  mrbeanrulesGood: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Wealth isn't very good for wallowing; I've tried. You want to wallow either in mediocrity or a mid-range income.

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 7Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
Prince Harry. Case and point.

[ - ]  NotPumpkinGood: 5Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Only the English...

[ - ]  mrbeanrulesGood: 6Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
I don't know where you're from, so I might be wrong, but I believe the colloquial expression you are attempting to use is "case in point", not "case and point".

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Prince Harry?

[ - ]  RexleGood: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
The prince of England dear.

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
We also have a William

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
And a Charles. And an Andrew. And an Edward. I could go on.

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
*One of the princes. We have many.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 2Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
I know, I was suggesting to OP. I'm English and know who the 2nd son of Prince Charles is.

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Historically, princes received better training than regular soldiers, and fought in plenty of wars.

[ - ]  TheBaddingFairyGood: 9Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
This is true. But if I was a prince, I'd rather sit on my lazy ass and get fed grapes by pretty women.

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 15Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Or pretty men. Whatever works.

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 11Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Or both.

[ - ]  andydawg8891Good: 25Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
I don't understand why a CO wouldn't let them check E-mail, but allow MLIA. That's dumb.

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 15Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
How else would OP get a fake story posted?

[ - ]  RexleGood: 9Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Two years ago soldiers werent allowed to get on Myspace and Facebook. They changed it a while back but maybe his CO stuck with it.

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 9Bad: 91 year, 12 months ago
So he's your boyfriend AND your dad?

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 4Bad: 171 year, 12 months ago
Ha!

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 4Bad: 181 year, 12 months ago
Ha!

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 2Bad: 101 year, 12 months ago
Damn, another double post.

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 4Bad: 111 year, 12 months ago
Ha!

[ - ]  Text_on_the_screenGood: 3Bad: 111 year, 12 months ago
Ha!

[ - ]  hurrderpGood: 3Bad: 111 year, 12 months ago
Ha!

[ - ]  NotPumpkinGood: 13Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
I feel bad saying mean stuff about this one >.<

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 7Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Same here. But I'd like to know how OP is going to make sure he keeps his promise.

[ - ]  NotPumpkinGood: 2Bad: 51 year, 12 months ago
*she *her. I should hope, anyway...

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 5Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
What? No, he (Taylor) keeps his promise of coming home in one piece. ;D *licks elbow*

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 3Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Hey OP! Whats the capital of Afghanistan[?]

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 3Bad: 71 year, 12 months ago
Is it eye-raq? HURF DURF

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 2Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
Kabul? I actually don't know, but that's my guess.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 1Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Capital A :D OP dosent seem to know this though.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Yes your correct it is Kabul.

[ - ]  ismellikechlorineGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
Not your, you're. As in the conjunction of you and are. You will drive me insane.

[ - ]  davidggGood: 13Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
Congrats with your girl and support the troops and come back home!

[ - ]  ha1eemGood: 2Bad: 91 year, 12 months ago
Oh dear...

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 8Bad: 181 year, 12 months ago
You know, you can still be in one piece when you're dead. I mean, the whole, 'Rest In Piece,' thing wouldn't make sense otherwise.

[ - ]  Spider_ManGood: 5Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
I used to think it ment something scary because I'd only see it written as R.I.P.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
*peace

[ - ]  Spider_ManGood: 3Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
*facepalm* It was a JOKE.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 0Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
Doh!

[ - ]  Gamer0309Good: 12Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago
God bless the US Military

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 5Bad: 231 year, 12 months ago
No, God Bless Vagina.

[ - ]  Gamer0309Good: 2Bad: 71 year, 12 months ago
That too

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Maybe there is a homophone of piece *stokes chin*

[ - ]  TheScareCrowGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Peace.

[ - ]  beatlesgirl94Good: 6Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
*strokes. I think stoking it might be a bit more painful.

[ - ]  xoXdancerXoxGood: 6Bad: 41 year, 12 months ago
OP, you do know that countries are capitilized, right? So "afghanistan" is really Afghanistan.

[ - ]  Teh_Grammar_NaziGood: 2Bad: 51 year, 12 months ago
You know, I think this sounds more like either the Canadian or British military, the US military is mostly stationed in other countries, like Iraq.

[ - ]  andydawg8891Good: 3Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
The US has increased pressure in Afghanistan in hopes of killing more Al-Queda(sp?) members.

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 3Bad: 11 year, 12 months ago
Al-Qaeda

[ - ]  andydawg8891Good: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Thank You.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
We have trrops all over Afghanistan. My fience, many of my friends husbands, a several of my friends have been deployed to Afghanistan. I really can only think of a couple people i know who have been deployed to Iraq.

[ - ]  RexleGood: 1Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
By the way I am American.

[ - ]  mrbeanrulesGood: 0Bad: 51 year, 12 months ago
What's a "trrop"? Can I assume you mean troop, or is trrop an obscure US Military term?

[ - ]  HogwartsBandGood: 7Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
and I'm sure you've NEVER made a typo

[ - ]  RexleGood: 0Bad: 01 year, 11 months ago
Thank you HogwartsBand.

[ - ]  heymochimochaGood: 2Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
wat are you guys talking about? if his daughter is a PRINCESS then he's a KING

[ - ]  AGloriousDawnGood: 5Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Not necessarily. William and Harry are still called prince even though their father is one too.

[ - ]  lmaonaiseGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Well we can tell you don't live in a monarchy. A princess dosent even have to direct lineage from the monarch i.e Princess Alexandra

[ - ]  DarlasaurusGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
:)))

[ - ]  IlanabooGood: 5Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Poor guy, though.. Considering that it takes at least a month for any published story to get through, he'd been a dad for quite a while before he got to know it.. I think I would have settled for a phone call, telegram or even a letter, would have been quite a lot faster..

[ - ]  RexleGood: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
It takes quite awhile for letters to reach Afghanistan, then they have to be sorted in the mail room.

[ - ]  Xanadu101Good: 7Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago
... I hate to break it to everybody, but there isn't a CO in the world that would allow a soldier to read MLIA is s/he wasn't allowed to read e-mail that might be from their family and friends, especially one expecting a child >.> This is fake.

[ - ]  CWalters2008Good: 6Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Not necessarily. My husband is currently deployed and their internet will not allow yahoo and other email/ networking sites to load all their content without messing up the connection for everyone so they are not allowed to go to high content sites. MLIA is simple and doesnt use alot of bandwidth to load.

[ - ]  yosupkbyeGood: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
awwwwww!

[ - ]  confidence_is_keyGood: 5Bad: 31 year, 12 months ago

[ - ]  asiansRawesomeGood: 2Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago

[ - ]  BonJovi821Good: 5Bad: 21 year, 12 months ago
Even if this were to be real, why wouldn't you include a last name, or maybe your name? I'm sure there's more than one "Taylor" in the ENTIRE army.

[ - ]  symiva79Good: 3Bad: 01 year, 12 months ago
Congrats on the baby girl!
