Today I noticed that the "lol" symbol looks like a drowning guy, and all you see is his head and arms sticking out of the water. I bet he's not laughing out loud anymore. MLIA
Lol... I hate laughing at the things that I'm not supposed to think is funny, but due to my contract with the Dark Lord and the fact that I no longer have a soul, I do.
this is a really really really good one!! i love it when people make words look like something, and i love how she made the connection between drowning and laughing in the last sentence. *saving*
so now instead of is your glass half empty or half full, it's going to be: do you see lol as a drowning person or a person raising the roof with happiness?
I don't know. I've been on errands allllll day. I got some meds for my insomnia and visited the chiropracter. And I just sounded like someone in their mid fourties. Great.
That would be awesome! I'll bring the trumpet cookies...with reduced sugar, just in case either of us has "diabeetus". (LOL, I love those commercials!)
Haha, it's this grumpy old guy talking about having diabetes, but he pronounces it "diabeetus". I think his name is Wilford Brimley.

Haha. I'veeeee never seen it. I actually just came up with it. And instead of 'Razzle Dazzle', I say 'Bedazzled', because I used to bedazzle everything. But I'll just go with what you said. haha.
My friend and I are endlessly amused by this. We have spent whole conversations making the drowning man get into worse and worse situations. My favorite is him swimming away from the shark attack:
----^-----/o/----
I'd say "win" except we discovered this ages ago. We determined that proper!drowning man was \o/ because he looked like he was waving for help instead of cheering. \o and o/ are cripples. ;)
If someone was drowning, they wouldn't be able to stick their arms out of the water that high. If anybody can stick their arms out that high, I'm sure they are good enough swimmers.

ahahahaha, i love this with a fiery passion.
i saw this and laughed really loud.
my brother came in just to look at me weirdly. hah,
i will now laugh every time i see the word lol.
This is so weird. I realized this about "lol" like a year ago, but I never thought of posting it on MLIA. Well good for the Op for knowing what a worthy post is.
