A few weeks ago a boy in my school lost a courageous battle with cancer. He loved Stars Wars and I feel that a post on a website that likes Star Wars a.k.a MLIA would be a good way to pay tribute to him. So what do you say MLIAers. Will you help me out to honor Pat Devlin's memory? MLIA

Today, I was in a store pretending to be a mannequin. I saw a little girl running around as her mom tried to leave, yelling, "I haven't said goodbye to everyone!" She proceeded to run down the line of mannequins, hugging them all. When she got to me, I hugged her back. I've never heard anyone scream so hard. MLIA

Today, I renamed my iPod "This ship" just for the pleasure of seeing the phrase "This ship is syncing" MLIA

Three months ago, my husband was on his deathbed with cancer. I would bring him MLIA's to read every other day in order to cheer him up. He loved reading them with me and always wanted to submit one of his own average stories. Today I got the call of a lifetime, my husband has beaten cancer by miraculous odds. Thank you MLIA.

Today, I received my passport in the mail. I checked the birthdate. Turns out my parents have been celebrating my birthday on the correct day for 16 years. MLIA

Today I was driving by the lake and I saw a Jeep full of guys pass me. They were hanging out the windows and the sunroof, paddling with canoe paddles, and singing "Just Around the Riverbend" from Pocahontas. It easily may have been the coolest thing I've seen, ever.

Today, after waiting for months, I went to an orphanage to adopt a child. The first child I was introduced to was in a full batman costume. We had an in-depth conversation about Gothams crime status, and his recent encounters with the joker. Guess who i'm bringing home? MLIA

Today , I went to the new Harry Potter movie with a friend . At the part where Dumbledore died , a man close to the front row yelled "NO!" and ran out the emergency exit door . It made my day . MLIA .

Today, I drank Kool-Aid. A giant pitcher of juice did not break into my home. MLIA.
